Moree & District Early Childhood Intervention Service is proud to have a team of highly skilled and passionate professionals who are committed to providing the best possible care and support for children with developmental delays and disabilities.

Our experienced NESA (NSW Education Standards Authority) Approved educators work collaboratively to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment in the Moree and Narrabri areas.


Early Childcare Intervention

Our team are trained in early childhood education and have a deep understanding of inclusive practices. They bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to create engaging learning experiences tailored to the unique needs of each child. Our educators foster a warm and supportive atmosphere, encouraging children to explore, learn, and grow.

We play a vital role in supporting the development and progress of children with disabilities.

Should additional support be required we have an extensive partner network and can help refer to therapists, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, dieticians and behaviour therapist who work closely with educators to provide targeted interventions and support. Together we ensure that each child receives the specific therapies outlined in their NDIS plans.

Sharon Maslin

Sharon Maslin

Sharon Maslin is the coordinator of Moree and District Early Intervention Service. She has been working for the organisation for the last 10 years as a Key Worker and Early Intervention Teacher. Sharon has nearly 30 years of experience in early childhood education and loves coming alongside families to help them work through and navigate the NDIS process and seeing children thrive through the support she is able to help facilitate. Sharon is a wonderful advocate for children and families, and a great support for educators in early childhood or school settings.

Sharon is wife to an ag pilot and mum to two teenage children. She loves spending time with her family both at home and away, and going for walks to keep fit.

Karen Bowhay

Karen Bowhay

Karen Bowhay is a Key Worker and Early Intervention teacher. She began to work with Moree & District Early Intervention Service July 2022. Prior to this, Karen worked as a Primary School teacher, teaching at Moree Public School and Moree Christian School for 10 years as a classroom teacher in both a full and part time capacity. Karen has a passion to see children thrive as they move through their younger years, setting them up for a lifetime of enjoying learning and engaging with the world around them.

Karen is mum to three school aged children. She enjoys making things pretty and feeding people sweet treats. These two hobbies come together as she makes and sells cakes and other baked goods.

Rebecca McMillan

Rebecca McMillan

Rebecca McMillan is a Key Worker and Early Intervention teacher for Moree District & Early Intervention Services based in Moree, and also delivers the Sector Capacity Building Program which she has done since August 2022. This program is funded by the NSW Department of Education and sees her working with 5 Preschools within the Local Area building capacity with staff around inclusion. Rebecca is an Early Childhood Teacher with over 12 years' experience within the industry. She has passion for working with children, especially children with higher learning support needs, and supporting them to transition successfully into the school system.

Rebecca has two adult children and is wife to a busy farming husband. She enjoys the peace and quiet out on the farm, reading and spending time with friends and family.

Anna

Anna Lindberg is our book keeper takes care of the Accounts and some Administration within our service. She loves spending her spare time with her family. Anna also has dogs and enjoys playing with and caring for them.
